Colour palettes in the Corel graphics package 4

With the use of the .cpl file format in CorelDRAW!, Photo Paint and the other parts of the graphic package, colours are easily accessible.

The adherence to this destination path is not necessary for the availability of the palettes in the program.


Using colour palettes in CorelDRAW! 4.x

  1. Draw any object in CorelDRAW! 4.0.
  2. Click onto the colour selection field (bucket) and the colour circle symbol.
  3. Go to "Custom Palette".
  4. Open the palette file you want from the above list in the directory COREL40\CUSTOM (or in the directory you have selected).
  5. Select "Show/Custom Palette".
  6. Select "Custom Palette/Set as default".
    Quit the colour selection window with OK, and select the "Custom Palette" in the main menu under "View/Color Palette"
  7. Design your objects with your colour system.
