Colour palettes in ARRIBA® CA3D (formerly RIBCON)
The CAD and visualization tool RIBCON is an easy to use solution: You have access to your colour system in 2D (surfaces) and 3D (objects) and you can switch between the versions. Colour windows offer an accurate and easy to use control.
Colour identity as early as the draft phase, the later version by the craftsmen will be identical.

Important: In version 13 you have to rename the colour
file to “DIA_COL.COL”.
The adherence to this destination path is necessary for the availability of
the palettes in the program.
In this program variant the CMYK palettes (artprint, offset printing uncoated and coated paper) were defined in RGB. To achieve this the black component was substituted by respective negative RGB values (standard formula).
Making a colour palette available in RIBCON/ARRIBA
CA3D
To be able to use the colours in RIBCON Version 13, replace the existing file DIA_COL.COL with the colour palette file. In other words, re-name the existing file DIA_COL.COL (e.g. to DIA_COL.ALT) so that you can use it again, and put one of the files mentioned above in its place, which you rename as DIA_COL.COL. In this way you can also replace the DIA_COL.COL file as often as you wish for various output optimizations.
In version 14 and 15, the replacemant process is made automatically:
The program copies the palette under the name DIA_COL.COL into the project directory. an existing DIA_COL.COL file will be overwritten.
Using colour palettes in RIBCON
After the installation, the colours are available in the desired output-optimised form for all colour functions (lines, filling-in, renderings etc.) in the colour window of the current project (when installed in the project directory) or generally in RIBCON (when installed in the standard directory):

The colour selction window shows
the RAL colours and the optimized output device of the active palette.
